You can get a free COVID-19 test at one of the testing sites listed below. If you have questions or concerns about this process, or if you have been charged for testing at one of these sites, please reach out to our COVID Feedback Team at for assistance. If you have questions about your health insurance coverage, please contact your health insurance provider. Most other health insurance providers will waive all co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles for COVID-19 testing. If you have Oregon Health Plan (OHP) coverage, testing is free. These costs should not be charged to the individual being tested. These sites may, however, ask for your health insurance information in order to be properly reimbursed for their services. The testing sites listed here strive to provide testing for everyone at no cost, including those who are uninsured. Vaccinated individuals should get tested if they have symptoms of COVID-19 or were in close contact with someone with COVID-19. If I’ve received at least my primary vaccine series, should I still get tested? What if I’ve also been boosted? If you are vaccinated, don’t have symptoms and are getting tested because you had close contact with someone who has COVID-19, it’s best to test five days following your exposure. If you are unvaccinated, don’t have symptoms and are getting tested because you had close contact with someone who has COVID-19, it’s best to test as soon as you learn of your exposure and again five days following your exposure. Close contact means being within six feet of someone for 15 minutes or more over the course of a day, with or without a face mask. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or if you were in close contact with someone with COVID-19, you should get tested as soon as possible, even if you’ve been vaccinated or boosted.
